Ever Wanted to Meet SpongeBob on Land?

I know my kids have wanted to meet SpongeBob on land before, and I mean, if we are being honest here, so have I. In an effort to enjoy my weekends off, I decided to take a trip to East Rutherford, New Jersey and visit the American Dream Mall. This mall is unlike any mall I have ever been to! Contained in this massive center is 3 theme parks. Nickelodeon Universe, Dreamworks Water Park, Big Snow, and 13 attractions including Angry Birds mini golf, indoor ice rink, an aquarium, candy world, LEGOLAND and a mirror maze! We only had one day, and my children chose Nickelodeon Universe to spend the day at!! This park includes 27 rides varying from roller coasters to kiddie rides, to a massive drop tower. All surrounding a Rugrats Reptar Carousel.

My kids enjoyed the many options, but a favorite was the Slime Coaster. My daughter and I particularly enjoyed the Last Airbender ride. It spins the rider upside down, and around at the same time. Some other rides included The Ninja Turtle Shredder Coaster, The Shimmer and Shine Genie Ride, Fairly Odd Parents Timmy Coaster, Jimmy Neutron Atom Smasher, Dora's Sky Railway and so much more!

Character greets included SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick Star, and Chase from paw patrol on the day we went. You could potentially meet Dora, Boots, Blues Clues and other friends from Paw Patrol!

Finishing the day, we enjoyed some food at the cafe and played on the slime playground. It was all in all worth the trip and I cannot wait to return to explore the other parks!
